With over 30 years’ experience in advertising, entertainment, and communication, Martin brings a wealth of talent to the DCODE team. After graduating from York University with an Honours degree in Fine Arts (Theatre Performance), he worked professionally and taught acting in cities across Canada as well as in Los Angeles – most notably at UCLA. Martin has appeared in over 100 films and television programs in the U.S. and Canada, has been the voice behind thousands of commercials and corporate videos, and is the former First Vice President (Wages and Working Conditions) of ACTRA Toronto Performers Branch, the largest branch of the Actors’ Union in Canada. Other accomplishments to his credit include: acting as National Guild Councilor to ACTRA for six years; being part of the leadership team that restructured the union to make its current $9 million surplus possible; and co-founding ACTRAWORKS, the professional development program for actors across Canada.
